Letter from Leslie Bean T de Barra, Chairman, Irish Red Cross Society, to JC Nagle, Food and Agriculture Headquarters, Rome, Italy, 15 October 1962, informing him that the Tanganyikan Minister for Agriculture visited Dublin in order to discuss how the proceeds of the 'Freedom from Hunger' campaign are to be used in their country. She states that the meeting was attended by Miss MB Murphy, Assistant General Secretary of the Society and representatives of the Department of Agriculture. A memorandum attached to the letter outlines the proceedings of the meeting.
