She asks him to ensure that the Irish working horses for export are of a proper age limit. She encloses a copy letter on the subject which she sent to the Minister for Agriculture, Mr P Smith. 'If the good name which Ireland enjoys for the breeding of it's horses of all types is to be maintained then we hold that a much tighter, and much more strict examination be given to these horses'. |
