The article states that the Guest Conductor of the Radio Éireann Symphony Orchestra, Tibor Paul, supports the efforts being undertaken by members of Concert and Assembly Hall Limited. 'Miss M Olive Smith, secretary, said it had been indicated to them by successive Governments that they must show there was a public demand for such a hall in Dublin before the Government would do anything'.

He outlines the conditions under which the recruitment will take place. 'That women so appointed will be substituted for male Gardai to the greatest possible extent, so as to minimise the net addition to the strength of the force'.
