It refers in particular to a letter on the subject which was sent to the 'East African Standard' by Naginder Singh Sehmi, Kenya. 'An average Irish young man cannot afford to take a girl out whereas an average foreign student can not only afford to take a girl out, but in many cases possesses a car. He dresses up smartly and his general behaviour is very good. Hence the girls are attracted towards him'. |
