Handwritten letter from Mrs M Griffith to `A Chara', 17 July 1924, relating to the grave of her husband. She states, `After Mr. Parnell's death a Committee looked after his Grave for years. My husband was a far greater man but since his death, at least the last 12 months, there is a mean jealous conspiracy (in all Government circles) of silence for this wonderman'.

Typescript copy of a letter from Mrs KW Perry, King's County, to the King of England bringing to his notice the case of Mrs Guinan, wife of one of the employees who gave birth to triplets in January. `Though I know we are no longer completely under the jurisdiction of Your Majesty's Empire, still I venture to hope that it will please Your Gracious Majesty to extend the favour of Your Gracious Majesty's bounty as usual to the mother of triplets', 8 March 1923.
