Statement of the facts of the case of David O Shea sentenced to death for the murder of Ellen O'Sullivan, circulated by the Department of Justice, 23 July 1931. Ellen O'Sullivan left her home at Knocknaloman, County Cork on the 8 February 1931 to cycle to visit friends at Rathmore, County Kerry. On her return journey she was murdered. David O Shea was found guilty. He was described by the judge as `a low degenerate with sex perversion'. |
