Letter to `Dear Sir' from Mrs Griffith, 14 August 1924. She is unable to attend the meeting tomorrow. `Late (9 o'c) Monday night I got word of Mass next morning at the Cathedral and a notice of one 22 inst for Gen. Collins, 12 days notice for the latter, it has always been so, anything would do for A.G'. Her son and daughter she writes are to be placed in the first row. `They are to be placed to be in place of honour, centre facing cenotaph'.
