She and her husband live in the Fior Gaeltacht with two young children depending on 30/- dole. She references the lack of nearby work in her area. She asks for answers to be given to a number of questions. For example, `Why did the labour Exchange [sic] (Dingle Branch) send out working cards to farmers arranging [averaging?] from 10 cows to 4 cows with hundreds of sheep and plots of turf and I wouldn't get no work for a labour man. I even went to the Dingle Exchange looking for work for my husband and I would not get it' [sic]. |
